Kelly Chen is a postbaccalaureate fellow in the Department of Bioethics. They received a BS in Mathematics and in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Their undergraduate work spans disparate fields including solid-state NMR spectroscopy, quantum computational chemistry, and partial differential equations. At the NIH, they are interested in studying the ethical and regulatory issues surrounding dual-use research in biomedicine and pharmaceutics.
